~ Checkerboard Throw and Pillow - Throw is made from alternating black and white squares of fleece (this would be great in red and white for Valentines day) with simple straight stitch embroidery outlining the squares. The pillow is a solid color with the simple embroidery for accents. I'd make the pillow white on one side and colored on the other so you can get two looks. And the throw is solid on one side and checkered on the other, so you could add a third color if you wanted for the solid side or use a print!
